one of the toyota dealers here is offering $10K off any of four '06 landcruisers in stock. when we were shopping for our leftover 100 back in 2002, the LC's were consistantly further below invoice than the LX's. sounds like you "may" have a bit more room, but i don't know what that number is. sorry.
51 after a 3yr lease? seems really high. i know toyo/lex don't offer favorable lease rates as they prefer a buy thru toyo finance (at least that's what i'm told), but that seems really high to me.... what sort of lease payment are they coming up with with a residual like that.....?????

toyo/lex are supposed to hold their value as well as any car on the market. on their lease you have to pay for 49% of the vehicle plus interest in 2 years???? i would go for another option... maybe an LC. maybe a diff lease package.
the x5 wouldn't seem to be a competitor to the lx or lc, IMHO. way diff genre of vehicle. sure its a lux suv, but not off road capable like the lx. also, much smaller... more like a lex rx.
i'm gonna do lease to buy or some such thing (5yr with as low mileage as they'll allow knowing i'm going to buy it anyhow).... also think we're gonna put a bunch of cash down to make the sting of a monthly less severe. it'll all be decided when we go to the dealer with his magic calculator.... good luck.
i'd check out a lease calculator online to check the dealer's numbers.
