Just bought an 03' Limited and I'm looking for a place to find info and stuff. Where can I go to find info about lifts and all the cool stuff I want to do!?

I'm shopping for one as well. There is so little online info for these things because they were so expensive for so long but now that they are nearly free I think we're going to see some action.

I'm planning on some glass front fenders and some sawzall rear quarter panel work then running 35s on a 3" lift.

How many miles are too many miles?

Here's a nice limited for sale for $4400 Canadian but with 420,000km

Really depends on how it was maintained. It seems like a reasonable price. I just bought an 05 SR5 with 200k miles for $7250. It was very clean and well maintained. I wanted an 05+ for the trans and VVTi. Due for a timing belt. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Yeah. I think I remember Christo Slee proclaiming that the 2UZ was a 400,000 mile engine. Based on some of the high mile examples that I am seeing for sale, I'm inclined to agree. I hope The 5.7 in our Tundra is at least 3/4 that good.

I agree with that. I'm trying to find info about increasing bore and stroke for a rebuild. I'm thinking of picking up a spare motor to rebuild "just in case". I've also come up with some insanely stupid ideas, like swapping in the 8" ifs diff and either the 9.5 or 10.5 rear. I'll have to start wheeling her hard to justify that.

Isn't the platform is based on the Tundra? I would think any none major body related swaps/parts should be similar. My wife had an '03 2wd Limited for several years and it was nice. Ended up trading it in on a GX and now wish we hadn't. But now I've a GX waiting for me. She 'promised' me I can get the next set of tires that I want on it. Gonna make a set 285/75/16 fit is what I'm thinking.

There was a SAS Sequoia thread here a year or so ago. Looked like a beast smoking tires on a rock climb.
