Well my 2006 threw a weird wrench at me yesterday. The Park light stayed on all the time while in drive(both lights work fine normally) but the car drove totally fine. The next day the P light started flickering on and off and the locks started cycling. I put it in park at a red light and shut it down for 30 seconds. Upon restart the check engine light/VSC lights both popped up but the P light went out in drive. I checked the code this morning and just the P0705 came up. I read lots of old threads about this problem but none of them really ever came to a conclusion. I have had a very small water leak during hard rains but only the center portion of my pass side front floormat gets just a little wet(about the size of a half dollar normally). I haven't noticed any other moisture anywhere else in the carpet. I cleaned the sunroof drains and it slowed it down a lot but still get the small leak during very hard rains and unfortunately I haven't been in a position to go sit in the car when this happens to see where it's coming in. I did check the fuse block under the pass side of the dash and it doesn't have any signs of corrosion or moisture. Anybody else out there find a resolution to this?? I'm tempted just to clear the code but hate to hide from problems for them just to pop back up at the worst times. TIA!!
