I'm not sure if it's been heralded here because I'm usually trawling the 60 section. But after talking to a few if the usual suspects in Sydney it looks like the 70 will get an update even though it was said it wouldn't.
Japan has developed a few concepts for a 4-5 star ANCAP that could potentially got into production 2018ish to get back into the mining market to prevent them having to reclassify the 75-79 as a commercial truck to negate the 4 star ANCAP requirement and driving our rego, slips & insurance through the roof!!
They also hinted that the hilux could go full sized into the tundra style seeing as the market is starting to swing that way with the ranger, Colorado, Dmax and Amarok.
Wait and see hey.
