Busy day today, been sheetrocking the living room so have to work on that some more.
With snow on the way have to do a quick check of the yard and pick up stuff and make sure
nothing is in the way for the snowblower. A buddy gave me a couple of loads of maple firewood
so Ian and I have to go pick it up. Ian is taking drivers ed right now so we have to fit in some extra
driving time too.
Oldest son (26) is back home in Arizona after doing a tour in Iraq with the Air Force.
And the Christmas tree farm across the street has just started selling so we'll pick one up today.
Haven't touched the cruiser since the FG : ( maybe in January!

Have a good day!

Glad to hear your boy is home safe Lane!! Is he home for good or just a holdiay leave?

We're heading to Keene for some light Christmas shopping at Target today. Want to get the truck in the garage and tear into the floor and body mount but it's so damn frigid I can't bring myself to do it. :)

Prepping for a big meeting this week to sort out some job issues.... and starting an aggressive new job search as well. I think the time to move on has finally arrived (10 years at this place). I'm in no danger of being fired but I think it's time I moved on. Doing a LOT of number crunching to see if I should just hold out until I can go full-time freelance. Scary and exciting all at the same time.

Alright, my wife made coffee cake, I'm out. :)

Going to see the Celtics-Cavaliers game. Then back to Vermont to get the truck ready to plow my 40 driveways

He's home for good, they only do a six month tour. He'd been there for 3 months before we heard about it (we aren't real close). But good that he's back, his Mom was pretty upset that he volunteered to go.

Yep Dave, to cold outside to be working on trucks in an unheated space! Have fun at Target!

Hi Lane, we live in Texas currently, but moving to the Keene area in about 3 years after my wife finishes her university studies. Swanzey is just down the road from Keene, so I am sure we will meet at some point in the future. I have been watching this section on mud for a few days now. I have talked with the fellow mudder, stinkyfinger a bit about wheeling around NH. Sounds good. Also have you guys heard about the Vermont Expedition Society? 4wd club out of Woodstock Vt, but members from all over New England.

Put a wood stove in your garage man :D

:LOL:I agree cold weather is coming in! I am gettin my shop ready for it, (more than last year) inuslated the celing, and maybe move the BIG modine out more into the shop so it gets more circulation.

Been a busy weekend so far...
picked up bunch of 40 parts from the media blaster today, before the rain:D storing them in the heated office till I get to prime them tomorow. Totaly psyched that the 40 is moving along...

Speeking of moving along

yesterday I picked up the next project for the 'wildman fab shop' its a 52 Chevy PU, 2wd 350/th350 combo, 10 bolt rear. I got it for cheep, as it is a rusty basketcase  It needs alot, but the body is %99 solid, and the frame is MINTY. First off I need to hack in some wiring to see how she sounds! Then the big list starts.... 4-6in chop (havnt decieded exactly how much yet) drop on the ground, maybe a 4link/bags later on. Trying to this one on the cheep, so free/traded/fabricated parts are the best!
I am totaly psyched, I have wanted to do a go-fast truck since I was in HS, and had my 85chevy pu with a built 355 in it.

I think Ill call it the 'project the girlfriend dosnt know about yet' build.

Good trip to Keene, kept hearing about "big snow" went shopping at Market Basket in Claremont and the bread isle was literally bare. Got home, checked the web and realized it's going to snow for the next 3 days. :)

I hadn't even started up the snowblower yet so I did that tonight and it took forever, hopefully tomorrow morning it will start easier.

Went to move the FJ55 away from the house and realized I'd left eh key in the accessory position last weekend and killed the battery. So that's on the charger and I had the He-Man the truck about 10 feet down the lawn, not fun.

What made you pick Keene? Not a whole lot going on around here as far as jobs go.
Look forward to meeting you!

Lane
