I was recently out and about and saw a restored fj45 wagon that changed the the trajectory of my life. It was a rolling piece of art work and my new passion in life is to own one of these beautiful vehicles. I've owned a 72 Bronco for years (recently selling it) and still have my 95 Defender. I know these fj45 wagons are rare vehicles but figured the posts are the best place to start. If anyone was considering selling one or anyone knows someone who owns one and might be compelled to sell it (or has fallen on hard times in this ridiculous economy), maybe we can help each other or help out someone else. I'd be willing to part with a good chunk of dough for a nice fj45 wagon. Thanks.

Just did the same thing

Hey, I posted a detailed reply on your 40 post, but in short, I just did the exact same thing...tried to buy a done LV then did one myself. Started 9 mo ago and would be happy to help you through it. Check cruiser_guy and take a look at his partially done project. You could finish that pretty easily and it will be 1/2 the price of another, if there was another. See this post. It looks like he still has it. I talked to him about it last year and was pretty close to pulling the trigger, but I found a more pristine project. Super nice guy and the project has 4 wheel discs, 2B diesel, etc.

Good luck!

where are you located and whose did you see? Mine gets looks and questions everywhere I go. took me will still is taking me I guess, 4+ years to get mine as far along as it is. I kind of stopped updating my build thread once she was on the road.
what is your price range? are you looking for a restoration or a restofication/ daily driver type.
