Hi SoCal_80 - I'm just got a Montero and it has a few electrical glitches, the main one is the fuel gauge - when it's full only shows less than half and after 50 miles it shows 0.
I remember seeing on this forum someone who recommended a good electrician and I forgot to bookmark it at that time.

Down in south orange county there is a place by the name of Auto Aces. San Juan Capistrano. I asked around and it was the shop most recommended.
