I'm looking at a 2008 dealer demo with @ 7000 mi Original MSRp @ 72,000. I can get in out the door for 58180 is this a good buy?

the price is @ 51 K before tax and license this is nearly the same price I paid when I bought my 99 land cruiser new is is now 56k otd

well i pulled the trigger. I over payed by a little by what I was able to determine. However LIKE i said this the same price I paid for my 99 cruiser. So I might have gotten taken a little on price. The best the I could have done on a new Cruiser over the last month was $59,950, b/f tax and license. I had talked to five dealerships in the last month. The number of 08's were begining to get a little thin.
Over all I am happy. The new cruiser is a HELLALOT FASTER than the old beast. I problably kepp the 100, to really trash.

You will be extremely happy with the new LC. By the way, don't ask what we paid for our LCs...we bought them before everything turned, and when SUVs were still cool. I know I over payed, but it's all relative.

After a few weeks of searching and haggling, I found our new 08 LC in South Jersey for $58K. Couldn't be happier.
What was your MSRP? and which dealer in NJ if you don't mind me asking. Best I got so far is $63K for 08. MSRP of 73K.
I'm also from CT. Maybe I'll see your LC around.
there are four new people on here (not counting Chimyz and Dtt255) who have bought 08 LC200s...and yet there are no pictures....(hint hint)
agree that the economy should affect vehicle pricing, but less so on the landcruiser because of it's overseas demand. a vehicle with more of a domestic market would be a steal right now. either way, the LC is a great vehicle for the money.
i know, i know. i've only put tint on it and VentureShield on the rock-chip areas, so not much to see yet. started home-made drawer systems and will have something to post soon.
I'll have more pics for you once the trails open up, and once I get my new rubbers on. It is a bad time of year here everything is closed still, and will be rutting out over the next 2 months.
Also, I'm setting off on a short 2500 mile trip at the end of this month. It will take me on mostly HWY kms, but there will be places to stop and take "Glamour" type shots, maybe a little 4wheelin too
