Hey sizzle, great pics you posted up! Yea I'm glad we were in a cabin for that rain! Too bad you guys got soaked, but it makes for a good story to tell your kid when she gets older.

Those river pics. Were just off Hwy. 49 between Downieville and Sierra City. We pulled over and had a great swim! Found a 10' rock ledge to jump n dive off! Water was nice and deep like 12'.

Oh yea the 100 is fine that sierra downpour washed our truck!
I'll post up a few more pics. Later

Dang, wish I could have made it! Sorry for the last minute bail-out Sizzle. Next time for sure, and we'll do the Snake lake trail...the hard way!

I'm in! You'd really like it out there. Were you able to get out at all last weekend?

Just stayed home sick all weekend, but I did get around to replacing my fan clutch and running a battery cable to the back, so I was at least a little productive.

Looking forward to more pics if you got 'em.

Great pics! The wife and I are heading out here tomorrow for a 3 day trip. Starting up north at the Plumas Eureka park, head south on the Gold Valley trail, jump on the western half of the Snake Lake loop, camp somewhere in that area, then check out Deer Lake and work on down to the lookout tower. I'll post up pics when we get back :)
