Going Coastal Cruiser Days
July 2011
Deas Island Park, Delta, British Columbia
Contact: Bill Wilkinson, OMRIV@telus.net

It's around the same time as the McGrew Trail Ride. TLCA: Events
It can be a long ride to Vancouver and customs can suck but we are going to take the ferry system up. It wont put many miles on the rig and give my son a chance to walk around maybe see some whales. There will be some driving on Vancouver Island and then back on the ferry to navigate through the islands to mainland. Here is a link to this last years ride. https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-bc-coastal-cruisers/378938-cruiser-days-july-10-2010-a.html
I will post the date as soon as I hear. Getting there is 3/4 the fun.

sounds like it would be a fun event to attend,

schedule of events

Our Cruiser Days Show & Shine is on Saturday, July 23, 2011. It is held at Deas Island Park, south of Vancouver, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There is a big raffle from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Deas Island Regional Park along the Fraser River near Delta, BC | Vancouver Trails
After that, we usually go wheeling and camping in a relatively nearby mountain area overnight into Sunday, with plenty of wheeling Sunday.

We usually get a turnout on the Saturday of about 75 or more Cruisers. The overnight camping usually draws about 25 or so people.
You are very welcome to come and participate in any and all of the activities.
Our regular club runs during the summer are usually to more remote areas of B.C. For example, from July 1-July 14 we expect to have a group go up to the Chilcotin area, something we have been doing for the last 3 years. It is a bit more difficult there and is for more hard core wheelers. The upcoming January/February Toyota Trails magazine will have our article in it describing the 2010 Chilcotin expedition for you to see.
Regards,

Bump!

2 weeks to go.

Grand prize in the raffle this year is an ARB Fridge/Freezer. About $2K in prizes in all.

Hope to see you there!

Have a great time. New home, no wheels.
