What a tragedy. Senseless murders.
God be with those in need of comfort in the coming days.
School shootings are just so awful. Hard to understand
how someone could kill 32 people and wound so many.
It's all so sad and disturbing.

I know. I've been getting regular reports from home. My mom still lives there and she is pretty shaken up over the whole thing.

Absolutely unbelievable. I can't imagine what it must have been like to be going about your day one second, and then diving for cover the next. I still can't comprehend what was going through the shooter's mind.

My condolences and prayers to all touched by this senseless act...

the thing that amazed me the most was to Columbine was the worst thing I had ever seen. it wasn't even half as bad as this was. It's just beyond belief.

My wife and I both graduated from VT. It is a shame that a person could cause so much hurt and permanently mar the school's reputation.

Hopefully, maturity will win and not blame anyone other than the sick mind of the criminal that committed the crime. However, we can all see how the politicians are lining up on this tragedy. VT won't be tarnished for this tragedy just as Duke has started moving past the idiocracy of a "rogue DA".

VT is a fine institution and that is coming from a Tar Heel fan...
