If you see the pics above my front end was substantially lower than the rear even with 3 leafs removed from the rear packs.

The fronts were medium lift with 8 leafs and I was using a stock shackle and no shims.

@orangefj45 sent me some 4* shims so I could add some 1” longer shackles and an extra full length leaf spring to the pack.

Did exactly what I was hoping. I’m about 1/2” lower in the front now. These springs will settle over time like my FJ55 springs did and get me a nice angle on the shackles.

The new front suspension setup turned out real good. Sits nice and level now. Flexes like a..... well like a spring under 40 series 😆

No ramp champ here but the shackles and bumps and shocks are all doing their thing

Had a nice trip in the Goat. Had it all kitted out to head to Texas but had to stay home so I had to go test the setup

This is a corner I used to be able to cut in my 40 but the 45 got stuffed and without a locker in either end I was stuck. A quick 85* pull with the 8274 and I was able to pivot to some traction

Catch anything?

We have to work hard to teach the youth to get engaged in the automotive hobby. It’s a dying breed with all the handheld devices these days! Props to you Nolan for doing this!! My 13 year old boy is turning to the dark side with gaming, I know I can’t force it, but sure wish he was turning wrenches with Dad more often!

My son is a gamer dork but now that he has his own Cruiser I make sure he gets to work on it but don’t force it on other trucks.
