Glove box wiring?

I was behind my glove box today (installing a grab bar) and found a few things that looks suspicious.

#1 Should these two plugs, circled in red be connected? What are they?

#2 What are these two plugs for and where did the blue and green wire from the blue plug used to go?

Hey Rob, check out this thread and my reply.

You have a late model wiring conundrum, the AC harness is advanced before its time, and meant for the 62 amp even though it is on your 60. You can disregard the black and white wire.
The blue plug is not OE, so I dont know.


edit-or is it?...... Post a better pic and it might jog my memory.
