 Yeah thats right this is my latest greatest ghetto mod! Battery powered LED's from homedepot
DotItlights
Get em here for $5.99 30 dollars total (lights and velcro) 3 minute install. I may soon purchase two more for the rock rail areas. This is just for temporary, but they they could last.... I'm just not sure yet. IF I get real ones I can use these elsewhere.
THese are made to be taken off when not in use
INdustrial velcro was used with fuzzy side attached to the light it self so mud wont get caked in there when they aren't attached.
The location for the front is right behind the tow reciving hooks it tucks up perfecty to fit these..and out of harms way.

THIS IS DONE WITH A 10 SECOND TIMED EXPOSURE its bright just not as bright as these pics!!!

Note poor house to the right with graffiti on it, a blue tarp in shreds and warped 2x4 spanned across their carport? Welcome to the ghetto  ...thats the reason we cant rent out our house!
To the left I built all that:yay: converted the AZ room that had freaking jalacy windows in it (totally not livable in AZ)into a wonderful extension of our once smaller kitchen. Added dual pane windows framed it up, did tongue and grove on some of it.

Thats it and they work:! Temporary only, I hope to get real ones some day.
These pics were taken with a timed exposure so it makes them look a bit brighter than they actually are but for sure you can get some good spotting at night with these installed

I know the first pic creeped me out this morning hahah: IFS ghosts! Thanks !

Hahhah on da low tech:lol:

I found water proof ones also OSRAM SYLVANIA DOT-IT H2O White Waterproof LED light - BulbAmerica.com

remember this is a timed exposure they are bright just not that bright. BUy one and test it out if you are considering going ghetto...if they aren't for you use it for a engine bay light or map light.

your bumber says it all "low tech":hillbilly::wrench:

Lowtech was the username of Roger Krause, a Tucson wheeler. He was killed a few years ago by a drunk driver. Tucson Offroad maintains the Chiva falls trail in his name. They gave out stickers to all of us that helped clean up last year. I got them on my rig also.

thats awesome. have you figured out the run time on them yet? what kind of batteries do they take?

100 hours:lol: triple A!

Here are more realistic pics
with only 2 second timed exposure, I tried to match my true vision...perhaps just shade darker in real life.
