The plan is to remove the tub, strip and paint the frame and axles, then sandblast and paint the tub, possibly line x the interior as well.

I am in the process of stripping the interior and am down to the dash knobs and fuse box/under dash wiring. The dashface and firewall will have nothing on. Can I leave all the wiring in the dash before sandblasting being sure it is all tucked away or should I pull everything out? Will the sand ruin everything or should I stick to manual sanding or is the standard practice to just pull everything?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Are they actually using sand or are you getting it media blasted? I ask only because most shops here just soda blast autoparts as sand wasnt doing what customers wanted. I am guessing too many saw tv shows and didnt expect etching. Its common to pull everything out. If you leave it in, youll have to clean it all out before you do pre-paint prep. Or worse, miss rust hiding under parts. And you dont wanna primer over wires.
