I need to move several pieces of furniture to my apartment. Is anyone with a pick-up willing to give me a hand with that on Saturday? I also need a few strong backs. Any volunteers? I'd really appreciate it.

Greg,
I have the pickup if someone can supply the strong back. I'm usually up around 6am. Should we meet for breakfast?

Greg, I work this weekend. I can help after 5pm.

I also have a pickup, and I can bring my own strong back... :p

what time and where?

x2, though my pickup is full of snow, and it prolly won't melt by then.

call my cell if you want more help: I'll be off internet by 0800 tomorow (Fri). two five nine seven five eight two, and leave a message so I can call you back (no cell service at home).

Nine o'clock at my, ahem, former residence in Corrales would be ideal. Shouldn't take too long - not much furniture to move. I think 4 people including my self would be fine.

Directions:

From Alameda and Corrales Road (Sunflower Market), take Corrales road north about 4 miles to Sagebrush on the left. Take Sagebrush west to Loma Larga (first stop). Turn right on Loma Larga and go about 3/4 mile to Camino de la Tierra on the left. Take Camino de la Tierra to #604 on the right. This is the house.

Could I get an idea about how many folks might make it? And how many pick ups would be available?

Thanks.

I will check this thread in the morning. I will bring the Tacoma and I can drag Ross out of bed if we need more strong backs.

Hey Greg -

I'll plan on being at your place at 9:00 tomorrow (Saturday). I have my double cab Tacoma, but I'm not sure how helpful it will be, since it's got the short bed (around 5 feet) and I've also got a camper shell on it. But it should haul some stuff if it's not too tall, and we can always leave the tailgate open.

Or I can just help load and unload if other's trucks are better suited to hauling...

See you in the AM...

Evan

I will also be there, in a T100 (early Tundra)

Is it alright if the truck I take is not a Toyota? It is my work truck... Hey they pay for it so I don't complain!

Rudy

A great big thanks to all those who came out to help!
