General California Smog test question 1991 Cadillac (1 Viewer)

trying to get this 1991 Cadillac FWD Deville smogged for a friend......HC and CO are crazy low but Nox is crazy high....all the searching I've done points to EGR system but that seems to function properly.


Now today he informs me it has 2 year old Arizona gas in it


my question then is will that have any effect on the emissions?

Don't know about the gas but probably not a bad idea to empty and put new gas before next test.

sure... old gas would be really bad for emissions testing.

That year model Cadillac should pass emissions with no issues.... I assume no trouble codes are present and all components are stock and present.
