Hi This box is being sold as a bj40 3b series 5 speed looking at the pic i think it is a standard 4 speed what do you think?

I am pretty sure it is a 4 speed, reverce is to the left and back, 5 speed is to the right and back, and lay sharft is not sticking out the back of box.

Right now its a 4 speed if its got a shaft on the right hand side sticking out of the rear of the top plate it could be a 5 speed once the aux is installed.But i truly think its a 4 cause of the shifter,which is usually a little further back and straighter,and fatter.

It's a 4speed. The 5th gear housing is not there. If it were added, the output shaft would be too short to go through the t-case. It does look like a B-series bellhousing.
