Hi to all cruiser fans.
This is my first post here but I have been visiting for some time now.
Looks like a great site with much knowledge from many parts of the globe.
I've been into Landcruisers since the late 1970's, starting back then with a 3 speed FJ45.
Thesedays I run two 60 series wagons, one an '84 5 speed fitted with a 6.2 GM V8 diesel, and the other a '87 5 speed with 12HT.
Hope to share some cruiser stuff with you guys.

Welcome! Always good to see more Aussie Cruiserheads on the forum! Are your wagons daily drivers? long-range travel rigs?

G'day from Colorado!

This is the most informative forum I've had the pleasure of visiting (including Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, & 50s F100).

Someone ought to do a psych master's thesis on the differences.

Hello and welcome. Your cruisers sound very nice.

Having a 6.2 diesel, you may want to check out this thread. Someone was just asking about those.

Thanks for the welcome and also the "newby salute"!;)
To answer some of the questions ................
Yes, both my wagons are for everyday use and both have modifications of some sort.
When I figure out how to post pics here I will put some photos up.
The '84 6.2 is the main workhorse of the two and is not far from 380,000 k's.
It's taken me to a lot of good places over the years and I really love the old thing.
There are mixed feelings regarding the worth of the 6.2 diesel motors and I might do a write up on my experience with these at some point.
I've done a fair few miles/k's with mine in a variety of conditions and situations.
Cheers
