Hi all, last year i did a group buy for sliding rear quarter windows from Australia and it went really well. I ordered rubber restoration kits for them as part of the group buy from a company called Rubber Seals Australia and the quality of the kits was very good.
They sell a kit that is pretty complete for these trucks. They include:
- 2x mitered front window runs
- 2x mitered rear window runs
- 4x front door belts
- 4x rear door belts
- Tailgate opening seal (body side)
- 4x clipped door seals
- 4x pinchweld door seals
- hood rubber seal
- Hood to radiator seal
- 2x Fixed side quarter window seals.
This is all 1 kit, and it retails for 1,136.45 AUD, which at the current exchange rate is 741.67 usd.
Other Seals available indivudually-
-Tailgate upper seal (tailgate side)
-Tailgate lower seal (tailgate side)
-rear door small fixed window seal
- Tailgate glass seal
- windshield glass seal
- Rubber hood bumpers
It looks as though all of the seals that pop into holes in the truck with clips come with the clips in the rubber. The window inner felt seals come with the chrome trim pre installed as well from what i can gather from photos on their website. I cant really tell on the outers but can ask

The prices are pretty affordable, but shipping from Australia is not. If enough people are interested in the group buy to make the shipping worth it, Id be down to put a group buy together. They have similar kits for 40/55/80 series as well. I can just make an excel spreadsheet with everyones orders and payments. They actually inquired with me to become a US Dealer for their stuff, but i dont have the funding to purchase a large stock of it to sell here in the states. I did talk to their owner on the phone though, really nice dude
If you do participate in the group buy, i would get a total order and get pricing and shipping price to Oregon. Everyone would pay for their own order and split the shipping cost equally between everyone. Youd need to submit the payment before i order. Once it gets to Oregon, you would need to pay for shipping via usps or ups or whatever from Oregon to wherever you live in the US.
Please keep in mind, these are not OEM Toyota seals, but based on my experience with the sliding window seals, they are of high quality. My only experience is with the sliding window seals, but everyone i talk to in australia recommend this company anytime i ask about weatherstripping.
