Just got mine today! Good Job, Mike. Looks just as great as I'd hoped. :cool:Thanks for included inctructions and cutting template. I didn't expect that. I'll post up in a few weeks when I get it installed.

What do I win for being the first to get mine on?

I sprayed mine with matte clear coat because the blasted stainless picks up stains like MAD. You can't even touch it without leaving an oily mark, but the clearcoat helps x100

Looks good Drew. I see you have an extra hole for a "back up" snorkel too. That finish looks perfect with your setup and color. Did the other project come together (tent)?

I have both a right hand and left hand black snorkle left, for $250 plus shipping...prices are going up(to reflect my costs) on the next run..if anyone is interested...pm me...

i'm going to do that on mine, what kind of clear coat you bought?

underhood pics

A couple guys have asked for underhood pics, It's easier for me to just post here,

Most applications will be different, I used a reducer (3" to 21/2") at the snorkle at the side panel, then used 2 1/2 " hi heat flex piping, running the pipe under the airbox, and into the stock opening...

There are a million ways to do it...

the easiest, would be to cut the original opening off, and weld it on at the back, running the snorkle thru a short rubber reducer and in....

i would like to order one let me know.. im ready to pay today!
thanks

I'm waiting for an order of 10 blanks to come in, but have really had problems with my supplier, I'll keep all posted as to what's going on. I can't quote a price now, because I may have to go to another supplier, I'm hoping to know mid next week....

I'm setting up to do another run, but unfortunately I have to find another supplier of blanks. I'll take orders once I have that, because my price is based primarily on my cost of the blank...

Put me on the list too. Please pm me when available.

Now that the snow is leaving, and the days are getting longer, I am preparing to do another limited run of snorkles,

I have found a new supplier of blanks, which I hope will be much more reliable than the old, which will cut down signifigantly on the delays I experienced the first run.

I realize some of you have shown interest here and on other threads, but some have since moved on to other snorkles or lost interest. I'm not prepared to go through the posts and contact everyone...If you are interested please PM me, and we can go from there.

-I will be posting the mod that allows for the mounting of a mirror.
-pricing will be dependant on the numbers and what finish,
-I will offer the black and bead blasted stainless again, however, black is my preferred, and the pricing will reflect that, the stainless is just very labour intensive, and I took a bath on them the last run....

Here's the one on my truck now, in black, with the mirror bracket on it...the bracket allows full door opening, and you can fold the mirror behind the snorkel when you are off road...the angle of the bracket is different than the other side, but the mirror placement is identical in height and distance from the truck, the future mirror arm will be less curvy, tighter bends, and more reflect the bar on the other side...

The next run of snorkels will be available with the bracket welded on, or off as needed, and the stainless arm will also be available.
