The underhood pics really won't give you an idea, each application is different...on mine I plan on turboing it, so I just have some flex pipe connecting the snorkle to the stock air box inlet. I've sealed the airbox etc, but it still is only temporary. I can take pics of what the end looks like coming thru the fender, but it will be the responibility of the end user to attach the snorkle to suit his own application. Mine is a 3B, with the airbox on the right hand side.

Are you still having the snorkel done? i PM you a few time without any response.

Bump, everything is ready to go, if anyone wants in on the build, now is the time....the numbers have been reduced so drasytically, I'm only doing it once....

If you are still making these i am extreamly interested in one for by bj40 with b engine. passenger side would be awsome!!

extras for sale

I am finally completing a run of snorkles, andafter having a few guys back out, I have with some extra. It's no ones fault but mine, due to the long delay, and i certainly appreciate everyone's patience with this, most of you understand that this is being done when i have time etc...

That being said, I have 5 (right and left) snorkles available, $260, not delivered, WITHOUT the ARB top....the top is available from ARB locally, I can either get it, or you can save some shipping costs and get it yourself...

I'm hoping to deliever in 4 to 6 weeks, so if interested, get in touch ASAP

Can you do them in steel so people that cannot tig can weld things up with a regular welder? If so, I would be interested.

I can do them in steel, but it would be expensive...It would be aone of... I'm delivering them fully welded, so you don't need to know how to TiG weld : )

do you have a picture of the bead blasted one?

whats the price for a RHD FJ40? which would put it on my passengers side?

R

There are pics of the bead blasted ones mounted on my truck at the beginning of this post,

I'm holding my price ($235 for a black one, $260 for a bead blasted one), until my first run stock is out, then prices are going up as my costs have increased. They are shipped with no top, but with backing plates, mounting instructions, gaskets and templates.

I will take you a RHD one Bead blasted. I'm out until sunday but will contact you early next week. Let me know shipping cost by PM to J6J4Z2

bead blasting is blasting the stainless tubes with glass beads or other media to create a smooth finish. If you think of a stainless exhaust pipe, with streaks and machine marks on it, the bead blasting makes a smotth flat monochromatic finish. It also cleans up areas around the welds, and makes them all the same colour...

I'm interested in a LH stainless steel, smooth bead blasted one for my '80 BJ40. Are you still able to fold down the windshield the way that your mounting brackets are positioned? Thanks.

Yes, you can still fold down the windshield....

pm sent

Thanks re: the info on the windshield, too bad that I didn't look here before replying with the same question via email:doh:. Email sent.
