I’m currently doing this job on our 2006 LC. I cannot recommend a specific set of parts to replace as nothing broke on ours coming out. As far as time, removing mid-row seats, peeling back carpet, and disconnecting the connectors to the top of the tank. Next is removing the rear propeller shaft (marking alignment on the differential). Then use a transmission jack to support the tank while removing the straps and lowering the tank slightly to disconnect the fuel filler line and emissions lines. The tank can then be dropped at which point you will need to transfer the fuel pump assembly between the old tank and new (new gasket there) and reverse the procedure to reinstall the unit. I believe that this job should take around four hours from start finish.Getting ready to replace gas tank on my 2000 lx. Can anyone recommend what else I should expect to replace?

We are awaiting an OEM tank ordered from Yoshi. No aftermarket tanks available for our 2006 amd no expected replenishment date.Thank you for the information are you using a Lexus OEM tank or an after market tank?
Just FYI, but Yoshi let me know that they cannot find an OEM tank. I have exchanged messages with the US Liland Distributor and they are expecting TOL-03 tanks later this month. We are awaiting an OEM tank ordered from Yoshi.
