Let's hope it keeps falling...

Hi, Bought some at Tom Thumb for 2.70. Lets hope it lasts until the next make believe global threat. Mike

People overthink gas prices. Unless you're a long hauler, the impact is minimal. I traded in a Tahoe on a new '05 'vette at Capitol, and the d-bag salesman tried to lowball me on the trade, telling me how "undesirable" my Tahoe was at the current gas prices, (close to $4). When I told him I had run the numbers, and the difference between $3 and $4 gas for me, at 12K miles a year, was about $50/month, he changed his tune. He said most folks don't run the numbers, come in and give away their trade, then are back within a year, because the tiny POS they downsized to doesn't fit their needs.

I got my price on the trade-in.

We drive our cruisers because we feel safe and they are fun . It is nice to see gas fall at least for awhile. Mike

This Phillips 66 station in Houston even provided tunes courtesy of the "gas station network" while i pumped. It was sweet, plus i made it home to Austin without my Toyota barfing on the gas.
