I really like the "hydrophilic" mirror lens.

And I bought a star to celebrate my "Lifer" status. $.02 a post and lots of entertainment for the money.

I bet it sounds sweet and a lot louder than my Borla.

Toyota sells OEM window louvers like those. My in-laws in Hokkaido always get them on their cars (those and bridgestone blizzaks for the winter)...very practical in inclimate weather (can crack the windows w/o rain/snow entering the vehicle). http://toyota.jp/landcruisercygnus/dop/exterior/other.html

weird, Ganador means "winner" in spanish IIRC...

I just love the window louvers. Nothing like $4 worth of injection-molded smoked plastic to make a $70K truck look good.

They make no sense in a dry climate but when it really rains they make a big difference. I see them on a lot of cars in Seattle when I visit.

I agree that they look like junk though.

Ganador stuff is good, but as with many things in Japan, rather expensive.

I like my window visors a lot.
I would not like to put them on all of my future vehicles now. :D

We had the ventvisors on our windows of our LC, really added wind resistance/noise.

I imagine it would mess up the streamline aerodynamics=wind noise. But if it rains/snows a lot where you live, they're worth the extra noise. Here in AZ, the AC is on most of the year (high of 76F tomorrow), so you could say my window motors get little exercise.

I have the Weathertech vent visors -- they were the first accessory I bought for the LC. They mount in the window channel rather than attaching via mounting tape. The installation is very clean and there is no additional wind noise, even at highway speeds.

They are extraordinarily useful items for the price (~$80), even in drier climates.

1. They allow you to vent the vehicle when parked without fear of the occasional unexpected cloudburst. The temperature with the windows cracked after an afternoon the in the Texas summer sun is several degrees cooler than with the truck sealed.

2. They allow you to vent the vehicle when car-camping in cooler climates, like the NM/CO mountains. Before I got a set for my 4Runner, I would sleep in the back of the truck and wake up to find my sleeping back and clothes soaked from condensation -- just from breathing. (Since it would occasionally rain, I would have to leave the windows closed.) After installing the visors, I found I could sleep in the back of the truck even in very cold climates with the windows cracked and without any condensation problems.

remember those sidemirror lens are designed for right hand drive vehicles it might be trouble to the left hand drive vehicles.....:)
