How is everyone integrating audio in to the 03^ LX470s? I want to be able to use tablet as road nav, music player, torque app, and off-road topo map. I want all of it to go through the factory radio though for any music and voice navigation or alerts.

So these are Bluetooth to the module and the module is hardwired correct. Does the factory radio have to be set to anything like tape or CD?

It emulates a 2nd CD/MD changer, so you press the "DISC" button twice to use the VAIS device.

Another cheaper option would be to just use an aux cable unit like the Grom TOYNA1. Simpler and typically better sound quality. I personally wasn't too interested in using the factory screen to navigate folders/songs and prefer using my phone or tablets screens anyway. Bluetooth calls would still work as usual. BUT that all depends on if you're okay dealing with a cable - something I'm used to and ok with. Otherwise, the bluetooth unit above would be great.

Now we are talking. I found one on Amazon for $66 versus the $200 for the Bluetooth one. I have no problem with wires since this unit will probably stay in the vehicle 95% of the time.

I'm guessing the steering wheel controls probably won't work with this huh
