Thought I would drop a line and see if anyone bites. My wife and I are looking for a 1995 or 1996 FZJ80. Going to be the wife's rig until next spring. Ideally we would like the perfect FZJ80 lockers etc etc. Let me know if anyone has one for sale nearby. I would like to buy one from a fellow cruiserhead if possible. I will start searching autotrader and local dealrships in a couple of weeks.
I just offered my truck for sale to Rockdaddy so I guess it is official for sale. It is a 1995 NightShadow Pearl (Dark Blue) FZJ80 with 180K and dealer maintained (down to the oil changes). Six month old 285 BFG AT K/O's (inlcuding spare), OME heavy lift, third row seats, running boards, ARB bull bar up front, Slee bumper/tire carrier in back, hella horns, Slee headlight harness upgrade, Viper alarm with Remote Start (nice!) and overall in primo condition. High miles because I commuted in it forever, but now it only has to go 2 miles to and from work. No leaks, starter replaced last August, and I'll be taking it in to the dealer for its 190K pampering when the time comes. Sorry - no factory diff lockers. The interior is grey leather(my personal favorite) and I think the interior condition is good. No riped leather, but the driver seat is showing its age. The exterior shines right up with some washing. There isn't any rust on this truck - except for the aftermarket tow hitch. Also, there are three wind deflectors - front, sunroof, and rear, wheel locks - even on the spare which I had to special order from McGards. Oh, and a K&N Air Filter of course.
I don't know if you are looking outside of Washington or something a little more stock, but I'd like to get around $15,000 for it.
