Good to know, thanks for that bit of info. The owner of the shop I plan on taking the car to has a tidy 80 series, so I am sure they will be able to have a look between that and the 73 they often have in there to potentially see if there's a match.
Won't know anything until after Easter as there's a full week off for folks here now.
The car attracts quite a bit of attention, so if someone makes me a decent offer I may also consider moving it on and looking for something a bit more mechanically sound. But, that's the nature of owning a 70 series, and buying a used one at that.
