Pay very close attention to the wiring in the factory set of solenoids before you take them out and install the Albright. For what ever reason unbeknownst to me, the control pack on my M12000 was wired with no respect to the wire colors.
The ground to motor case was a red wire instead of black. The power to the remote control was white instead of red. And the F1 was black instead of white. After breaking my head
for 4 hours, on why my winch was suddenly possesed and did not want to work anymore, I looked at the wiring diagram (found online somewhere for the 5 wire setup) and deduced that the wire colors were all wrong. This was on a winch I bought brand new from 4WP. Problem fixed and all works well now.
