FYI FJ60 in junkyard in Birmingham

I'm too far away to take advantage of it, but the Pull-A-Part website shows an '85 FJ60 at the Birmingham location. Their prices are dirt cheap on almost everything too.

It's pretty much stripped and this point except for the axles.

Got what I needed.

Still left in or on rig as of August 8th AM: carb, smog pump, fuel pump, ac compressor, alternator, head, block, power steering pump, perfect grey dash pad, dash cluster, good hood, 2 good doors, front fenders could be salvaged, front grill in fair shape, tailgate. Interior is shot. All glass is good except for winshield. I got the rear hatch. Block looks like it was rebuilt once before from the fresh freeze plugs, my guess is it spun a bearing. Most all the engine bolts and parts inside the truck, its totally disassembled. Front and rear axle is still there.

My carlot is just down the street if anyone wants me to get any of the above items.

I need 3 grab handles w/bolts, a hood prop, shifter knobs if they have the shift pattern on them. Did you see any of these items?

I know for certain that the shift knobs are gone, the hood prop probably gone since the hood is being held up by a curtain rod, and I don't know about the grab handles.

Driver door has a large dent in the lower half, deep enough to keep window from rolling down. Dash pad is in great shape, gray in color. Would you like me to pull it for you sir???

Yes I would like to get the dashpad... I have an 86 FJ60, I assume there is no difference between these two. Mine in brown, but I may see about get the pad dyed or something.

Pad is easy to remove (i've had mine out a few times)..

No prob! Got the drive side up, but the 83 does not have pre fab'd mounting holes in the A pillars like the 87. Guess I'll break out the drill tomorrow.

These parts are off the truck 9-27-09: front axel, dash pad, gas tank has 2 holes in it.
In good shape: Hood, frame is nearly rust free. Spare tire still in place and one other rim. As mentioned maybe front fenders can be used. I dont think the rockers are worth saving. Only missing rear pass door glass and rear hatch, all other glass is good other than windshield.
