Future dual/quad battery setup?

I think I was looking through an older (Nov 2004) Popular Science and came across this new battery. I don't think it is for sale yet, but thought it may be a cool/good idea and thought I'd let you all in on what I found.

Basicaly a reseve battery built into a standard one. Looks like a gel cell, but not sure as there are not many detailed specs yet. But after seeing all these dual setups, this got me thinking two of these would give you semi-quad setup

If anyone knows anything else or hears anything more about these let me know, as I have been debating between the Optima redtop and the Excide Orbital. I don't need one right away, but I want to get away from the leaky normal acid batterys.

The write up seemed a little vague on the "pitfalls" of previous dual batteries that this one overcomes. We need to hear more details. I would only be satisfied if it was two completely different batteries packaged together with all the wiring necessary for a proper dual battery set up built in... I think.
