I had a long-nipple Fumoto on my GX, but I wasn't comfortable with how close it came to the skid plate. So I switched over to the short nipple version. While I was at it, I measured how much oil remains in the pan below the top of the threads on the Fumoto that protrude up above the bottom of the inside of the oil pan. Bottom line, it's not much, ~3-4 oz, or 1.5% of the total oil volume.
