Fuel Return Line (1 Viewer)

In the middle of rerouting my fuel return line off the back of the engine. Anyone have an idea of what pressures are expected? I bought some 5/16 fuel injection line but it was too large. I have some 1/4” fuel hose rated for 50psi and trying to make a call to use that or go out and get some 1/4” fuel injection hose.

open ended fuel return line to the bottom of the sub assembly in the tank only has the head pressure of a couple inches of fuel.
provided fuel tank is at ambient.
