Hi guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently upgraded from a 3rd gen 4Runner to a 1st gen gx470. I’m having some long crank when warm problems and I suspect the fuel pump check valve based on what I’ve read. Looking at replacements, it looks like I can buy just the pump or a whole pump assembly. Which would I need to replace the check valve? Is the check valve in the pump itself? Or is it part of the assembly?

Thank you for any help or advice

I believe it is integrated into the pump but I am not certain.

It’s all built into a unit. If you have to fix any of it just get a whole new one. Cheaper to replace

Thanks guys, the reason I’m asking is there is a big difference in price between getting the pump and the entire assembly (with float and everything), if buying denso or OEM. I’d like to only replace what I have to but I’m not sure if the check valve is part of the upper assembly or just the pump .
