Fuel gauge only going to half a tank

good morning, I have tried to search but haven’t seen this issue. I recently performed a frame swap and after buttoning everything up my only issue is my fuel gauge only goes to half a tank when completely full. I replaced the fuel tank but kept the original pump unit. I was thinking maybe the sending unit is getting stuck? It could this be a ground issue?

I'm having the same issue - fuel gauge is isn't accurate at all. Replacing sending unit today - I'll report back.

Is the sending unit a slide type or an arm type?

I've found the type where the float can slide up and down can be prone to sticking on other cars. Usually a little cleaning can take care of it. I've found it mostly in diesels though.
