Yes they usually came with the extra bow... Ehsan used it (at least on his early ones) for an attachment point using Velcro for a more secure canvas with less flapping in the rear and more secure bows... but... imho never really needed as it doesn't flap that much and is pretty sturdy without it

Couple hours worth of work and they fit an FST FJ40 again.

I am glad you asked because it made go actually look. I bought them off a fellow member. I found a picture of the truck they were on? Or at least in this picture and it's an early 40. The B pillar post had been cut off and moved to the inside. Pretty nasty hack job.

does he want to sell those doors? ;)

Do the troopy bows accommodate hard doors? Are they original Toyota (not reproductions)? Are they for sale? If yes to all these, I'm interested in buying the set.

I have no doors. All I have is a set if troopy bows with factory soft rear doors.

If I can find the right type of bows for my project, my 65 bows will be available and they are in excellent shape.

What we do is cut the inner tube on the Real steel bows and pull the B pillar bow in a bit. Makes up for the issue with fitment at the top.

Can you provide details on this?
Or a link to this procedure?
Thanks!

I thought about that, but what about the c-channel? Doesn't the bend distort the channel? Sounds like you have the most experience with them as a vendor of the reproduction tops.

Seconded, @Trollhole, can you explain that process in a bit more detail? I'm putting my doors on now that I'm running your soft top and having some fitment issues with the Real Steel bows at the B-Pillar. It's like it's pulled forward about 1/4 inch too far.
