Hi all,
I’m putting my 1996 Toyota 4Runner 5 speed SR5 up for sale. I purchased this from the original owner and the truck spent its entire life in SC and NC, as a result, there is NO rust, the body and frame are in amazing shape. I moved to NH with this truck almost 2 years ago and it has been garaged the entire time I’ve had it, along with frame coating applied every season (just applied a fresh coating of Noxudul). I’m selling because I’m moving and am keeping my BMW. I've taken this onto trails a total of ~4 times in the +3 years I've owned it.

I have done quite a bit of work to this truck, mostly maintenance and all maintenance parts were replaced with Toyota OEM parts. Oil changed at 5000 miles or before with Mobil 1 and all drivetrain oils are synthetic 75w-90. The truck has 208,xxx miles on it, and most all of those are highway miles as I drive a lot. Below is a list of parts and features of this truck:
Maintenance:
- OEM timing belt and water pump (172,428)

- Windshield replacement (208,000)

- Roof, hood, and tailgate repainted due to clearcoat peeling
- Kurt hitch
- Ditch LED lights with CBI brackets
- Flush mount LED reverse lights
- 30” LED bar with Slag Offroad mount

I’m sure I’m forgetting some other bits, but that is the main list. As stated, the TRD team wheels will be included at my asking price, but otherwise I will put on a set of split-spokes with the tires. Price is $9,000 OBO. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. This has been a fantastic vehicle and I’m hoping someone here can find a use for it.

Also selling my trailer that I built. This is on brand new 33" General Grabber tires, has LED lights, and rides extremely well on the road due to the weight of the tires. Price is $500 for this or will do a package deal with the truck.
Please let me know if there are any questions
Thanks

Nice truck. are those trail gear sliders just the generic ones for 86-95? Can't find 96+ on their site

I believe these are specific to the 3rd gen chassis, however I bought them from a member that had purchased them new and then sold his truck. Sorry I can't be of more help there

On another note, I've dropped the price a little more, I'm going to be moving soon and cannot take this with me

Price lowered yet again to $7,600. In a tough spot since I'm closing on my house soon and will be moving in the next ~2 weeks
