Listing this for a buddy. It's not mine and I have never worked on this truck other than replacing the gas tank last week.
Afaik, 1986 350 TBI engine with Howell harness. Th700 transmission and NP208 transfer case. Fj60 front axle, minitruck rear.
The good:
Runs good. Engine is in great shape, no noise, does not smoke And has all smog equipment including a newish cat to make it CA smog legal.
Th700 trans that works good. SOA on aluminum rims with 35" mud terrains. Body is pretty clean. Some dings and dents but nothing major. Very mild rust in a couple of small spots. Hd sliders and bumpers. Interrior in decent shape. No major leaks.
The bad:
Needs some tinkering. The rear driveline vibrates and makes noise due to it needing to be shimmed to adjust the angle. Some of the wiring should be cleaned up. Water temp and oil pressure gauge don't work. No working ebrake. Tires are ten years old. Plenty of tread but some cracking due to their age. They hold air perfectly fine.
Basically, a pretty solid rig that needs some tinkering. Nothing major wrong with it.
Truck is in Stockton CA but has an OR title. Clean title and current reg.
