Ok, guys.. I know a bunch of you guys need good sheet metal.. here it is...
I bought this pig before christmas. It runs, drives, and brakes well enough to be the basis of a good project.
I replaced a leaking water pump, and replaced the mechanical fan with electric. It now drives well enough around the neighborhood, but would want to go thru it some more before taking it to the highway.
The pig was located in West Texas, near Alpine its who life. There is a bunch of superficial rust, but there are NO RUST HOLES. Every bit of seals and rubber bits are weather aged and there are no window slides or felts but the windows are all good. (with the exception of the cracked windshield.)
Tailgate motor work, window goes up and down like it;s suposed to.
I washed out about 50 lbs of old school beer tabs, dirt and **** from the inside, but what it reavelaed was clean sheet metal and a large bullet hole in the front floorboard. The front seat frames are all clean, and rust free. the rear fold down has rust on the back, but its straigt and the lower folder is cleana and still has clean paint.
Overall it's a generally clean pig, that just needs some love...
Now as for the sheet metal... not all perfectly straight, its got dents and dings assoctiated with being on a ranch its entire life. but suprisingly clean considering. There is some supreficial rust, but mainly its just sun baked....The hood has ding where somethign dropped on it and a bullet hole front a hunter back in the late 70's...Doors are clean, but no interior panels. Roof is rust free, could be a cut and paste for a project...etc. etc.
Ok.. here's the one true detriment...NO TITLE. I will give you a bill of sale. You could get a bonded title, take it to the deer lease, Part it out... what ever floats your boat.
The only reason Im selling is I dont have room.. We have 6 vehicles now; I'm in a neighborhood, and I need this gone.
