Ok, so I searched and I'm being a little lazy. Got a new set of front mudflaps awhile ago for my truck. Went to put them on (off a '91 I think) and they do not fit.

Do the ones that CDan can get that I've seen in threads fit perfectly? I don't want them to have the cut-outs for the running boards. The ones I have are close but the holes are off...quite a bit.

If anyone can confirm with a P/N that would be great.

Thanks

Jason, you are removing the running boards and replacing the flaps with the non-cut out running board style right? I'll be removing my running boards soon so I'm interested in what you find out.

If these are for your '97, I don't believe they will fit. But I think you've noticed that. '93+ should.

I had mine painted to match the flares.

Wow, those look sharp on your truck! Might get mine painted to match too. Stay safe there on your tour my friend, mind AND body!

Just called my parts connection, he's got them on order, should be in tomorrow.

These: 76603-60021 and 76604-60021

Thanks Infojunky! We'll see how they look/fit maybe tomorrow night!

Nicholas I will let you know, but if they're anything like in post #4 it looks like we have a winner!

Flaps in...not picked up yet...road trip starting tomorrow...will report and maybe post pics when I'm back

Got the flaps...they fit PERFECTLY...spendy though! Gotta find someone to buy my old boards to offset the expense! I'll try to post pics and the part #s I bought.

Considering doing this on my LX. If it's not too much trouble, could you post pics?

See entry #4...if that's not enough pic for you let me know and I'll dial it up. But that's pretty much what they look like, albeit unpainted.

On a side note, what is your Chicago area parts hookup? Dealer friend?

I spent many years working in the car business, and some of that was at Continental Toyota...have a buddy there in parts who hooks me up. It's nice to be able to call someone and they order up what you need, deeply discounted, and it's almost always the correct part.

I don't know what that does for anyone else however...wish I could extend my relationship to all. But it took time and I cultivate it constantly. The dude has saved me many hundreds of $$$.

I may be interested in your running boards if they are in decent shape for '97.
Our passenger side one is dented and rusting so even if I repaint it there is still a dent.
Send picts or PM me if you're interested inc. price! THX!

I've got a similar deal with Grossinger in Lincolnwood. I know what you mean by taking the time to cultivate the relationship. :)

Yes, having a good parts connection is priceless. He helps me out a ton...and having Toyota product all over the friends and family the help is multiplied many times over.

Speaking of which, I need to bring him some beer soon! People remember when you take care of them ;)

I just replaced the running boards on my '97 LX450 with HQ sliders and now I need to get some front mudflaps as well. I just came from the closest Lexus dealer and they wanted $106 each for them. Does anyone have a suggestion for where to get these at a better price?

I have a printout from the factory diagram of that part of the car and the front flaps are listed as parts 76603 and 76604. The link above with pictures of different flaps appears to have these listed as 76603-60021 and 76604-60021. Can anyone explain the extra numbers to me? Also the dealer said the factory flaps are color matched to the car. Do the different colors have different part numbers? Thanks.

Thanks
