This past weekend i was replacing the ebrake/hand brake cable and found these in the back... I am guessing that now that I installed the 5 cable on this thing, that maybe 100 series land cruisers have an issue with frozen cables back there....

Yes, the Land Cruiser 100 definitely has an issue with the E-brake freezing up. It's usually right at the backing plates of the wheels. The "bell crank" often rusts into place.
 
Well pretty sure this one spent most of its life in florida so there are some locations i've had to clean up. I was just surprised that the previous owner kept the cut ends in the cruiser, maybe he/she was keeping count. Fortunately the cruiser has no frame or body rust. But I will be lubing things that i have to clean any oxidation off of. The sun roof was also frozen open. Had to replace one side of the slider/tubing.
