dammed noobies, with their stupid questions.... :D

washed the truck T morning, got snow W morning, so of course the road slat left a nice film over everything....good start to new 80 ownership, gonna hit the car wash every day at this rate....

so I hit the washer button to clean the front windshield....drivers side, perfect....passenger side squirter shoots right at the bottom edge of the wiper blades....squirter is firmly in there and not twisted down....

are these nozzles moveable/adjustable?

I know me too well, have a habit of thinking things will move and next thing I know, it's busted off in my hand....

TIA....from the newest of the new 80 noobies....

Yep. Adjustable.
take something small and pointy and stick it in the hole...move it around 'til you get it up the way you want it.

...I'm talking about the fluid nozzle...:flipoff2:

Sounds like the nozzle bearings are shot. Time for a CDan call.

Buck

cdan, can you add those bearings to my order? Hopefully they aren't a expensive as the power antenna bearing you sold me T night.... (stupid me, shoulda just done the bronze antenna bushing and been cheap about it, but dammit I love grease zerks)

oh, does the washer squirter bearing come with a zerk or is that extra?

They are sealed bearings and U gotta buy a hood to get them.....;)

Damn man, as picky as you have been 80 shopping, :D you know all the threads and advice you have asked of all of us :censor: I would have thought this would have been a known deal breaker.

Hood hinges are integrated and must also come as a unit. They're balanced and matched to your hood's harmonics and cast of unobtanium.

Hey ty,
Is that so you can squat on yer hood and wash your backside? :D

Now you're talking about the Lexus bidet option. Ty has a LC, not a LX.

BTW: the pin fix worked perfectly....changed the filter while I was in there, flushed it with fresh fluid per the FSM instructions, and upgraded to braided stainless lines....

detailed writeup pending on the 16-pin trigger overflow mod, allowing you to actually clean the glass of the vehicle behind you too, just in case their filter is clogged....

Hey Doug.....Is the water heather on your bidet option still functional? My warm air dryer works, but I don't think the water heater is..

RWL? CDL....

WTF...lol

You mean you don't need the Rear Washer Lock switch?

sorry...I thot it was the RSL....Rear Squirter Lock....my mistake...

new to these 80 things, all this new terminology to learn, and these new fangled accessorizations that I don't understand....

when you get the spare tire autoloaders in, let me know....

Woody, might as well get those squirters blue-printed while yer' at it gettin' er' done.
