I thought I had posted this yesterday. If I have sorry for the replay.
I have a 2001 HZJ 78 Troopie, stnadard other than a turbo.
Yesterday i had to change my front tyre after having a flat. Once I got the good tyre on, I took the wheel top and bottom and gave it a pull.
I noted there was about 1 mm of movement, so in my mind that translates to freeplay in the bearing. I replaced bearings about 20 to 40,000 km ago.
I have searched around but cannot find how much movement I should have? Anyone out there able to tell me if this is in the rhealms of what it should be.
Thanks and be good.
Chris
