Did you get this resolved? I've had my 200 for a month and put over 1k miles on it, and out of the blue tonight in the middle of an 80 mile drive I started to get a similar noise to what you describe. I pulled over twice to see if something was loose and couldn't find it. Sounds like it's coming from the front right where the windshield and dash meet. Funny thing is it was actually a decent bit warmer today than it has been lately, so it wasn't due to extreme cold.
nope still there.......
Hey @Sinister
Had an idea... Are you SURE that's where the noise is coming from?
Here's my brilliant idea (haha).
While it's happening...use your phone to shoot video--but not so much for the video. -More for the SOUND. Our ears aren't as good at locating sounds, but your phone's microphone is VERY sensitive to *Proximity" to the sound. So... While shooting video, you (or a passenger) slowly move your phone back and forth along the dash and then play it back. The phone will pick up far more of sound when it's right near the click. Play the video back, noting where you phone was when it is loudest. -Once you figure out the closest spot, then do another one...slowly moving around JUST that area you identify in the first video sound...and see if you can truly pinpoint it. Then at least you'll be sure your ears aren't tricking you.
Ive had 2 sets of ears (other than mine) confirm where its coming from. I gave up, just going to live with it untill i need a new windshield or I upgrade to a 2017/2018..
