SOLD front right door regulator mechanism

My front right door lock regulator is living it's final days... I don't drive it much, but when I do it rattles all the way.. Looking at it with the door open, the 'star' catch that latches onto the door strike assembly is really wobbly and is the culprit..
Looking on SOR they're $125.00... and they're naming it the door regulator... I don't need the exterior lock, but the door catch regulator...
Anyone have a good right front donor door regulator for a better price?

MacRabbit, could you post a picture of it? If the star wheel has wobbled out the metal, it can be fixed. Will need to remove of course and I can help you with it.

Thank you...and that is the problem... I found your repair thread and am going to follow that... I can't weld for crap but my neighbor does so it's a done deal... and thanks again.

Looks like you cut the lid off, replaced with new metal with an appropriate drilled hole for the star to rest in correct?
