Where can I go to get police style "push bars?" I don't need that fancy grill to guard the headlights, just the two center vertical bars. check out setina.com I looked into WAAG but they do not have 2005 Land Cruiser part number, I assume it would be the same as Lexus 470 which they do have.
Also, will this affect the air bags depolyment?
Manik and WAAG make 100 series ones. I had a WAAG on my LX that if you had posted back in 2010 I'd have give to you! Regarding airbag deployment, no idea. ARB crash tests their stuff though.
Most police style push bars bolt to the frame, and are pretty robust for day to day use. The mounting tabs allow the guard to bend rearward into the bumper upon a hard impact though, crushing the bumper and activating the airbags. We have Setina guards on all of our cars. My old unit had two dents in the bumper from multiple low-speed hits (vehicle pushes, idiot backing into it, etc) forcing it back into the bumper cover over time. You will likely end up with front end scars if you run it for any length of time and wheel with it.
Double check with the specific manufacturer re: airbags though, just to be sure.
