I accidentally stripped one of my seat bolt threads and need to helicoil the threads. This is my front passenger seat, the front bolt closest to the door.

Does anyone know the size and thread pitch?

If you don't mind could you possibly detail your process of installing the helicoil in that spot? The last time I installed my drivers seat the left rear bolt got crossthreaded even after tightening it by hand, impacting it down, then putting a torque wrench on it. This same job is in my near future as well.

yeah I mean on any helicoil you basically drill it out, then tap it one size larger, then thread in a coil which reduces the thread size back to original. There are some good videos of it online, they are very easy to do and the kits come with everything you need.

Interestingly, I think I read somewhere that the bolts that hold the seat belt brackets have to be 7/16-20 SAE or something

Interesting maybe some industry standard thing?
