Front Main

Hi gang
Well i'm finally back from Reno. All of my cad coated large parts arrived while I was gone and i awoke ready to boogie today. First order of business was to reinstall my timing cover. I went out to do this and low and behold I either misplaced or purchased the wrong front main seal.

ANyway, is it possible for me to reinstall my oil pan while I wait for this seal to come in and then install the timing cover?

I searched the forum but couldn't find specifics on this.

should be fine. i've never dropped the pan to have the front timing cover off or vica versa
