Front fender?

it is your truck... what are you going to do about the other lines then? where the side meets the cowl, that is usually the worst looking line?

I will see how it looks when I get the fenders on. I was thinking I had the wrong fenders but now it sounds normal. I had a huge gap where the hood sides meet the cowl also and thought the fenders and hood sides need to come back. I will see what it looks like if it has a huge gap I will modify the hood sides to fill it in. I have seen some huge gaps there on these trucks and think it looks horrible. It is just my opinion, I am used to street rods where everything fits perfect or you make it that way. :hhmm:

If you fill it in and then flex the truck you'll rub between the joints and rust there. 40 frames are designed to be bendy, and the body panels are designed to take up the slack.

... which may be why driving mine sounds a lot like a box of silverware falling down the stairs, hmm.

I was planing on a full cage tied to the frame in my truck, that will make it flex a little less than stock. Also, I will use a rubber or leather bead type of filler. If it looks ok when I get some descent fenders I will leave it alone, I just think the big triangle gap looks bad.
