Hi All:

Yes, the 8 inch high-pinion front e-locker from a 80 Series will fit (with modification) into the front axle housing of a LJ Series Land Cruiser. A buddy has fitted one in his LJ73.

Regards,

Alan

If the 80 series front diff 8" high pinion and the 70 series front diff also 8" high pinion.....should be a straight install???

If its anything like fitting an e-locker into a std diff for the rear its do able...
But you need to get out the grinder and welder to modify the diff housing to accept the e locker.
And also tap in some new holes.... for some loooong studs.

I have done it for the rear.
